A month ago I wore tight shoes for a party, at the end of the night
(after alot of dancing) I couldn't feel my little toe at all. I freak
out a little, went to a doctor and he told me that I compressed the
nerve on the side of my toe. He told me it will come back, but it is
going to take a long time. Its have been already a month... a little
bit of feeling came back. I wonder, how long does it take, did anyone
have this problem? Needless to say, I don't wear these evil shoes
anymore. Doctor told me there is nothing to do... just let the nerve
heal... He told me it is not permanent. How long should I wait?

Sometimes years. Nerves, if they heal, heal in their own time. The
doctor isn't going to be able to fix it until medical science perfects
nano technology and we're still decades away from that. Your nerve will
likely heal sooner. When I was working on a spring for a machine, it
snapped and stabbed my thumb. Similar results, I lost feeling in part of
my thumb. It took a few years to get full feeling back.
