I have seen intervals from three per year to six per year. Is there a
nationally recognized protocol for the administration of Cervical
Epidural Steroid Injections? (assume they work)

My health plan is denying my sixth one and I need to mount an appeal.
Links to documentation would be helpful.

Hello Mike
These invasive procedures are very detrimental. Please visit the following

Arachnoiditis is a debilitating disorder that is introduced by
epidurals, myelograms and surgeries. We have become invalid, walking with
cane, sitting in wheelchair, unable to work anymore due to these procedures.
Hope you visit these links before you agree to anymore epidurals.

Sorry to hear you had a bad outcome. How many procedures did you have?
I have had 11 over a two year period. Most gave me the only real
relief I get. I have not found an alternative to ESI nor have any
doctors offered one. The closest was a nerve stimulator but it is an
option of last resort according to my insurance company. Surgery is
not an option according to the neurosurgeon.
